AI Visibility for Cybersecurity: Be the Vendor AI Names When Security Teams Build a Shortlist.

LLMReach is a GEO agency for cybersecurity vendors, from EDR to pentest firms. Security buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini before booking a demo. We make your capabilities clear.

By the numbers

AI is already part of how security buyers choose a vendor.

The questions that decide the shortlist

Security buyers ask AI which vendor to trust before they book a demo.

  • ZTNA: “best zero trust network access solution”. The answer names a few vendors, and the security team puts them on the evaluation list.
  • EDR: “best endpoint detection and response platform for a mid-size company”. Assistants repeat what review sites and vendors' own pages say about each platform's detection capabilities.
  • MSSP: “best managed security service provider for a small business”. Providers with clear service scope, response times and coverage are the ones an assistant can match.
  • Pentest: “best penetration testing firm for a SaaS company”. Firms that describe the tests they run, the targets they cover and the reports they deliver make the shortlist.

Most vendor sites describe their platform in general terms. Assistants cannot confirm much from that. So they name a review site, a comparison article or a vendor they can verify.

The basics

What is AI visibility for cybersecurity vendors?

AI visibility for cybersecurity, or GEO for cybersecurity vendors, makes your product clear to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. The aim is a place on their shortlist.

Assistants cite two kinds of source for security buyers. Vendor sites matter: Palo Alto Networks' site was cited in 6 of 30 answers. Review site G2 was cited in 7.

That means two jobs for a cybersecurity vendor. Product pages must be specific enough to match buyer questions. Review site profiles must be complete and accurate.

GEO and SEO

GEO vs SEO for cybersecurity vendors.

Both share the same foundations, crawlable pages and authority, but they answer to different readers. This is where they differ for a cybersecurity vendor.

Vendor categories

Where GEO matters most, by product category.

  • EDR and XDR platforms

Security teams seek endpoint detection fitting their size and environment. Pages stating platforms, approach and evaluation results help assistants recommend.

  • SIEM and threat detection

Teams want a SIEM fitting their log volume and size. Data sources, deployment and use cases help assistants match you.

  • MSSPs and MDR providers

Companies ask for a managed security provider by size and industry. State response times, coverage hours, technologies and customer profile.

  • Identity, IAM and ZTNA

Buyers seek zero trust and identity tools by use case. Assistants rely on deployment model pages and consistent review profiles.

  • Cloud security and CSPM

Cloud teams ask which vendor covers their platforms. Build pages per cloud provider, listing misconfigurations and compliance frameworks you address.

  • Email security and penetration testing

Buyers search email security by threat and pentest firms by scope. Spell out threats caught, targets tested and reports delivered.

What's included

Everything an assistant needs to recommend your product.

A 90-day engagement built around your product category, your buyers and the evaluations you want to win.

  • Security buyer prompt audit across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, by product category and buyer type
  • Answer-first capability pages for each product, with the threats it addresses, the buyers it suits and the deployment contexts it covers
  • Use-case pages for the scenarios security buyers describe: cloud workloads, hybrid environments, SMB, mid-market and enterprise
  • Organization, SoftwareApplication and FAQPage schema across those pages
  • One consistent vendor profile across your site, G2, Gartner Peer Insights, PeerSpot and the review sites assistants cite
  • llms.txt and robots.txt set up for the AI crawlers
  • Research into the comparison sites, security communities and trade publications AI draws on in your product category
  • A baseline of your AI citations, taken before work begins, and weekly updates

Who this is for

Built for vendors security teams trust.

Not for you

If any of these are you.

  • You expect new pipeline in a few weeks
  • You can't share site access or approve copy
  • You only want more outbound or paid ads this quarter
  • You can't say which product categories or buyer segments you want to grow

For you

If this is you.

  • Security buyers compare vendors before they book a demo
  • You have a product category, a use case or a new market to grow
  • You want the work done for you, not another report
  • You're ready to commit to a 90-day window
  • The work pays off where security buyers compare vendors before a demo.
  • It works best when you can state what you do, for whom, and which evaluations you passed.

FAQ

AI visibility for cybersecurity: questions vendors ask us.

Is GEO the same as AI visibility or AI search optimization for cybersecurity?

GEO for cybersecurity vendors and AI visibility for cybersecurity brands name the same work. All aim for one result. Your vendor gets named when a security buyer asks an AI assistant what to evaluate. Providers differ in method. Ours is the Citation Stack: prompt research, technical fixes, content, community research and visibility tracking.

Do security buyers really use AI to choose vendors?

B2B tech buyers increasingly do. A Marketing Graham survey of 792 senior B2B tech decision-makers, published in 2026, found that 83% find AI assistants useful or very useful in vendor research. That survey covers B2B tech buyers in general; there is no security-buyer-only figure yet.

Which sources does AI rely on when it recommends a cybersecurity vendor?

Two kinds, based on our test of ten security buyer questions. Vendor pages: Palo Alto Networks' site appeared in 6 of 30 answers and Wiz's in 4. Review sites: G2 appeared in 7 answers, Expert Insights in 5 and PeerSpot in 3. So you need a well-structured product page and a complete review site presence.

Can a smaller cybersecurity vendor compete with the largest names?

Yes, because assistants answer specific questions. In our test, the three assistants named 94 different vendors across ten buyer questions. They agreed on only 23, and 48 were named by one assistant. A vendor that states its category, its buyers and its evaluations can be named for the question it answers.

Do review sites like G2, PeerSpot and Gartner Peer Insights affect AI answers?

Assistants read review sites. In our test, G2 was cited in 7 of 30 answers and PeerSpot in 3. A complete profile with recent, verified reviews gives assistants something to confirm. We keep profiles accurate and consistent with your own pages.

Security buyers are technical. Does GEO work for buyers who read documentation and white papers?

It works alongside that reading. Technical buyers also ask AI for comparisons before and during their evaluation. Capability pages that describe your architecture, integration points and the attack scenarios your product addresses give an assistant the specific language technical buyers use in their questions.

How do you handle accuracy for products with security or compliance claims?

Every page is written to be accurate, and you review it before it goes live. For certifications and evaluation results, we say what they cover and where buyers can verify them. We never publish claims beyond what your documentation supports.

How do you measure the work?

We count citations of your vendor across the agreed buyer prompts in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. We compare them to a baseline taken before work begins. We also track visitors AI assistants send to your site.
